Guess who's surrogate is pregnant? Ours! We are having a baby! I can't believe it. I really, really, really can't believe it. I think I am still in shock. Our surrogate's Beta number is 2049 (14dp 5dt). From what I understand that is pretty solid.

B and I are completely elated. I feel dazed. I can't believe we jumped over this big hurdle and landed on our feet! I am so happy that this worked not only for us but also for our surrogate. I hope that our surrogate has a healthy, easy, and uneventful pregnancy.

I just wanted to thank everyone who has supported us through out this journey. Your kind words, thoughts, and gestures helped us through really difficult times. We are so lucky to have you all as our friends and family. Thanks a million!

I am moving my comment from your last post to this post because I wanted to leave this comment in it's rightful place, now that this post is showing up for me (the internet must have been freaking out on me) :)

OMG!!!! Your news is so incredibly wonderful I have tears in my eyes and I'm about to jump on my desk and dance (which I could do since I work from home, though it's a small, glass, and not so solid metal frame desk so maybe not a good idea) :) That is so freakin great that this worked on the first try!!! We are hoping (of course) to follow in your footsteps at the end of August. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Tracy,

Glad you enjoyed our blog and congratulations! Now, as you wrote, we all hope for a very uneventful pregnancy.

But I gotta tell you, I laughed at the earthquake posting, but also sympathize. I (Mike A.) am originally from the Big Island of Hawaii and have experienced several earthquakes. They really throw you for a loop if you've never been through one!

We'll be rooting for you back hear in the East. We're in Wakefield, and Mike B. is originally from Malden. Small world isn't it.

Mike A.

P.S. I heard the New Delhi airport is worse!
