India Or Bust!

I can't describe how crazy this week has been.  Here's a brief summary: I spent all week running around at Mach speed, had a panic attack, and then my car stalled in the Babies-R-Us parking lot. I nearly lost my shit.

What I can describe is how AWESOME I feel right now.  I feel relieved, happy, anxious, nervous, tired, definitely tired [shaking my head], and most of all I am ready.  Ready to be in India.  Ready to watch our baby be born. Ready to hold our baby.  And ready to be a Mommy.

I just wanted to publicly thank a very important person who has helped me through all of the many emotions that came along with this process.

My dear friend J in NYC-  What an amazing friend you have been throughout all of this.  You're just as excited as we are for this baby, and when we told you we were expecting, you cried with joy.  When we were in India in July, you actually looked into shipping us McDonald's cheeseburgers.  For that alone I wanted to open mouth kiss you.  I heart you J! Thanks for everything!

I love how there's nothing next to your luggage so we can gauge how much (or how little) you actually have - lol. Have the BEST time and enjoy the Taj Mahal. We didn't make it there last week, so maybe next trip for us too. And so, so enjoy bonding with your little one. What an incredibly special experience you're about to share.
