Bringing Home Baby

I am obsessed with this TV show Bringing Home Baby. It follows a couple leaving the hospital, returning home with their baby and their first week of parenthood.

I watch this show and think "they would need a two hour special for us." It would be more like Bringing Home Baby meets Amazing Race. We will be getting in a rickshaw, going to a hotel, getting in a car, getting on an airplane (to Mumbai), getting in a car, going to another hotel, going to the US Consulate (to get our baby's passport), getting in a car, getting on a plane (flying through Hong Kong), getting on another plane (going to LAX), going through immigration, going through customs, getting into OUR car, and then going home. Sounds crazy--but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Five more weeks until we leave!

It sounds funny, but it is SO true. After traveling to Mumbai we all know what we have to go through to get there and back, let alone doing it with a newborn.
So excited for you, can't wait to see the pics and get all the detailed updates.

T, you not only have all of those stops with a newborn, but you need to add an over excited grandmother into the mix, as well(me). I'll try to be helpful and well behaved. I can't wait! This whole adventure seems surreal.

I love that show too! It's getting so close - I am so excited for you!! I know it will be a whirlwind trip, but sooo well worth it!! Can't wait for both of us to have our babies in their little Red Sox Gear - we'll have to exchange Red Sox "fan" pics :)
